Doe #2 had 9 bunnies and they are all looking healthy and full of milk. I don't currently have any pictures but I hope that will change and get you guys something to look at in a couple weeks. Right now they spend all day inside the nest that momma made for them. I should have rabbit to for sale to eat in about 8-12 weeks. If you are interested let me know and I'll put you down for some. Rabbit meat will be $5 a pound. Average carcass weight will be between 2 and 3 pounds.

I found your PF blog by doing a google search for "meat rabbit blogs". I'm a wanna-be farmer currently living on 1 acre in MD, but I'm doing all I can to provide food with our 1 acre. This past summer I raised broilers, layers, and had a veggie garden. I've got a dairy goat due to kid in March to provide milk, and two ewes due to lamb in the spring for freezer lambs. I'm looking into raising meat rabbits. Your PF rabbit posts were very helpful! I can't wait to follow your adventures at home now. Thanks!
